LOVE IN ACTION
Love House Church exists to build a community where love thrives by sharing love and
making disciples for Jesus. We declare that we love God, the people, and the city of
Gqeberha. The outreach arm of the church will operate under the name Love House
Empower. The term Empower reflects our commitment not only to meet immediate needs,
but to uplift, strengthen, and equip individuals to live with dignity, hope, and purpose.
1 John 3:18 AMP says:
“Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with
tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in
sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words].”
PURPOSE
The purpose of Love House Empower is to provide practical support to individuals and
families experiencing food insecurity, while demonstrating the love of Christ in tangible and
meaningful ways.
As a church, we believe that love must go beyond words and become visible through action.
This initiative is an expression of that conviction translating compassion into consistent,
practical care. This outreach seeks to embody the instruction found in 1 John 3:18 which calls
believers to love “not in word or speech but in action and in truth.”
Through this initiative, Love House aims to create a culture of care, compassion, and shared
responsibility within the church community. This outreach initiative therefore seeks to
translate compassion into tangible support for those in need within our community. By
providing food parcels and mobilizing our Love Groups to care for one another, we aim to
create a culture where love is not only spoken but actively lived out. Beyond meeting
immediate needs, Love House Empower seeks to restore dignity, strengthen community,
and remind every individual that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
